Our second JTC workshop is in full swing! Be prepared to dive deep into the Root Chakra, located at the base of the spine. The root chakra is the your energetic foundational home. Here is the “starting point” for developing and maintaining balance. It is governed by our animal instinct to survive—our “fight or flight” response is initiated by the energy of the Root Chakra. At birth, Muladhara asks, “do I belong here?” and becomes the basis for our sense of stability and security. This workshop will act as a bridge to find the understanding of how you respond to the world around you through the lens of the root chakra.

What are chakras?

Chakras are spinning wheels of energy, when they are in proper alignment and balanced they spin simultaneously to create a powerful running vibration or current of life force energy within you. The energy runs from the root base of the body to the top of your head, or Crown and beyond. During this workshop, you’ll get an interactive class, yes you will be an active participant as your four, not one but FOUR teachers, experts in their field guide you for an experience throught the sense.

About Nakita

Nakita is an Integrative Holistic Psychotherapist and the Founder of C'est Clair Holistic Therapy. As an Integrative Holistic Psychotherapist, Nakita integrates holistic approaches into her practice. Originally from California, Nakita was raised in South Florida, and feels its melting pot experience has taught her the importance of integrating the fusion of cultures with therapy. As, a Psychotherapist based in South FL, Nakita not only focuses on aspects of the mind, but also prides herself on her ability to look at the body and soul connection to guide her clients through life’s most complex and difficult matters. In the end everything is connected.

While studying traditional psychotherapy, Nakita had the opportunity to travel to other countries like China, Mexico, and Haiti while introducing traditional therapy to the people of those countries. She noticed something beautiful and unique, along her travels; there was a strong desire to not only use the traditional therapy approaches, but also to combine these practices with their own native techniques. This is where Nakita's love and desire of integration was born. C'est Clair Holistic Therapy offers clients a mind, body and spirit approach to therapy, honoring the self in every facet.

About Macielle

Macielle is a Community Architect who occupies a variety of spaces. She uses her love of words and language to evoke emotional and spiritual growth through writing workshops as well as her community based reiki healing circle Reiki + Chill™. Her love of communication knows no bounds, she's produced podcasts focused on connecting women entrepreneurs, written in many local digital publications in South Florida, and has produced and starred in packages for the likes of The Weather Channel exploring the South Florida culinary world. As a Certified Advanced Reiki Practitioner she helps others uncover the healer within themselves, and strives to create welcoming gatherings where everyone from all walks of life can arrive and feel at home. Macielle believes through connected wholehearted living, we can change the world.

About Barbara

Barbara is an Integrative Holistic Psychotherapist. Barbara focuses on the connection between mind, body and soul to help guide her clients along their journey. Barbara has always felt there was more to the process than merely the traditional studies psychotherapy had to offer. She began to seek out other healing modalities and found Reiki. While studying Reiki she found the “magic” she’d been looking for. Therefore, taking her spirituality to a whole new level and she was able to make even greater connections between mind, body and spirit. Barbara realized that by combing the knowledge, gained from her traditional schooling with other holistic approaches, she is able to help her clients in a whole new way. Barbara provides therapy from a heart centered approach and always have the clients’ well being in mind.

About Beth

Beth is an NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) Practitioner and Coach, Certified Practitioner of Time Line Therapy® and Hypnotherapy, and has practiced as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for over twelve years. She became very interested in NLP, Time Line Therapy® and Hypnotherapy while practicing as a nurse practitioner in the chemical dependency field. Beth knew she needed additional tools and techniques that produced more rapid results. These therapeutic modalities facilitate change at the conscious and unconscious level. As a practitioner, Beth empowers her clients to release negative emotions, anchor positive states, conquer limiting beliefs, build self-confidence, eliminate unwanted behaviors including phobias, obtain powerful goals and release fears to name a few of the available results.
